The Rural Youth Golf Association (RYGA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth sports organization with a mission to provide youth in rural communities the opportunity to learn and play the game of golf while broadening their skill set and growing the game.
By establishing affiliated chapters across the rural spectrum, the RYGA is able to reach a wide array of youth who have not previously had the chance to experience what golf has to offer. At these affiliated chapters, participants are taught the basics in an environment that enables them to try the game first-hand without financial burden.
Affiliated RYGA chapters create a new youth development opportunity offering a mean of golf exposure. Not only will RYGA participation be for those new to the game, but core lessons and instruction are taught to improve, or create, a solid golfing foundation for juniors at all skill levels. RYGA chapters are able to provide youth:
– Free golf clinics
– Free golf camp
– Free use of golf equipment
– Discounted memberships at their local clubs
